  • The customers may enjoy the services provided via this website without providing their own personal information (the “Personal Information”), except for certain services for which the customers are required to provide the Personal Information to enjoy. We recognize the importance of the Personal Information provided by our customers, and we therefore handle such Personal Information with the greatest care.   • 1. Handling of Personal Information in Cases Where the Customers Are Requested to Provide Their Own Personal Information Via Our Website

    • 1. To send the brochures which the customers requested or the brochures of properties meeting the desire of the customers
    • 2. To notify the customers by direct mail, e-mail, or telephone, etc., of the latest information such as schedules of properties for which the customers requested brochures and properties for sale which meet the customers’ desired conditions
    • 3. To reserve visits to model homes/seminars, or accept membership registrations for properties
    • 4. To respond to inquiries and requests for consultations from customers
    • 5. To analyze customer trends, investigate and analyze product developments, and request questionnaires
    • 6. To provide the services related to the membership journal, and the e-mail magazine for members, for which the customers registered
    • 7. To send direct mails on new property information to the customers who registered for the membership organization, and requested such information
    • 8. To request questionnaires to the customers who registered for the membership organization
    • 9. To provide information about, or offer or introduce, products and services of Mitsubishi Estate group companies (Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. and its affiliates listed in its securities report)
    • 10. In addition, to contact customers for any reason when required

    We will stop providing all types of information and services upon direct request from the customer.

    [3] Provision or Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

    We may provide or disclose the Personal Data** of the customers, such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, desired conditions and purchase history, in writing, to a third party in the form of electronic data, or by mail, telephone, or e-mail, etc. in the following cases.

    • 1. In the event where we provide to the business owner/seller, sales company, or broker of the property for which a brochure is requested

      We will stop providing the Personal Data** of the customers to any of the third parties upon request of the customer.
    • 2. In the event where we have obtained the consent of the customer
    • 3. In case where we are requested by a judicial or administrative authority or institution under applicable laws and regulations, etc.
    • 4. In the event where provision or disclosure is necessary for the purpose of protecting the life, body, or property of an individual and where it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer
    • 5. In the event where provision or disclosure is specially required for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and where it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer
    • 6. In the event where provision or disclosure is required to cooperate with an authority or institution of the national and local government and any other third party entrusted by them in executing the affairs required by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the customer may impede the execution of the affairs concerned

    [4] Joint Use of Personal Data

    • 1. In case of a real-estate transaction of any property that involves a joint venture partner (information about such joint venture partner may be found in the website or brochure for the respective property), our company and the relevant joint venture partner, seller, sales company, or broker may jointly use the Personal Data** of the customers provided at the time of request for real estate brochures described in the [1]-1 above, and in case of that involves sales representation, our company and the relevant seller and broker may use the said information within the scope of purposes of [2] above. -Items to be jointly used: name, address, telephone number, email address, and the items of the Personal Information that are necessary for the purpose of use described in [1] – 1 above

      ・ Responsible person for management of the Personal Data** to be jointly used: General Affairs & CSR Department Manager as set forth in [6] below.
      However, as the Personal Data** of the customers is managed by different managers according to each project or property so long as it is on sale or not yet delivered, please contact he sales center, etc. dealing with the property in question for detailed information about the treatment of the said information.

    • 2. The Personal Data** of the customers provided under [1] above may be jointly used by the Mitsubishi Estate group (Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. and its affiliates listed in its securities report) to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use described in [2] above.

      ・ Items to be jointly used: name, address, telephone number, email address, and the items of the Personal Information that are necessary for the purpose of use described in [2] above

      ・ Responsible person for management of the Personal Data** to be jointly used: General Affairs & CSR Department Manager as set forth in [6] below.

    [5] Safety Management Measures

    • 1. We take necessary and appropriate measures for the security management of personal information to prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal information as follows:

      ・ Prevent unauthorized personnel from browsing personal information-related data, as well as limitation of entry and exit of employees and equipment being brought into the areas where personal data is handled.

      ・ Prevent theft or loss of devices, electronic media, documents that contain personal data in addition to taking measures of avoiding personal information to expose when carrying the equipment, electronic media and other devices when these items are relocated even within the office.

      ・ Implement access control and limit the scope of personnel in charge and the personal information database to be handled.

      ・ Use systems to protect information systems that contain personal information from unauthorized access or unauthorized software.

    • 2. We ensure the security of personal information when our employees handle the personal information by taking measures such as creating rules, keeping the log of access and regularly inspecting the access status of the personal information for information security as well as implementing necessary and appropriate supervision of the employees such as providing training opportunities on a regular basis. We also have an in-house reporting and communication system in place in the event of leakage or potential leakage of personal information.
